Go to StoreThe Range Temperature Sensor measures the oven temperature. If your oven isn't holding the correct temperature, replacing the sensor may alleviate this issue. This sensor replaces many long tipped oven sensors and includes instructions and additional plugs to replace the original. To access the part, take the access panel off the back of the range and set it aside. Disconnect the sensor's wiring harness at the back of the oven. Then open the oven door, remove the racks, and remove the screws at the back of the oven holding the sensor in. This kit includes (2) adapters if needed. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.
