Agitator Auger and Base Assembly

This Top Load Washer Agitator spins your clothes properly so they can be washed. The agitator sits on top of the transmission shaft and is secured by (1) 1/4" screw that is marked by two short parallel lines at the base of the agitator. Replacing this part will require basic tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
