If the idler wheel no longer spins inside your appliance, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This kit comes with a tri-ring and washer. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Recommended Part: Consider replacing the Drive Belt (item #661570V) at the same time you complete this repair. The drive belt is a very long, slender belt that wraps all the way around the dryer drum, around a tension pulley, and then around the drive motor pulley.
