Direct Drive Heavy Duty Motor Pump Coupling

The Top Load Washer Motor Coupler drives the agitator in the tub. This heavy duty direct drive washer motor coupling is located between the motor and transmission. If your appliance isn't agitating as expected, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This part has 3 coupler pieces – the parts that go on to the motor and the transmission, and the black part that goes in between them. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
