Evaporator Fan Motor Kit

This Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Motor replaces a hub style motor and blade, and circulates the cold air from the freezer into the fresh foods compartment of your refrigerator. You'll need to replace this part if it has shorted out and is no longer cooling the appliance properly. When the evaporator fan fails, it often generates a lot of noise in the freezer area. Note that to access the part, you'll have to remove the shelving from the freezer and the inside back panel. This part also includes an adapter wire, which you may need to use during the installation depending on the design of your appliance.This kit also includes the wiring harness and a 4" push-on blade.To access the part, you'll have to remove your freezer shelving, lower bins, rails that hold the bins, mounting clips, and then the back panel from the freezer. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
