Ice Enclosure

The Refrigerator Ice Dispenser Container Shelf supports the ice bin and houses the ice maker’s auger motor. If the mounting area at the rear of the ice tray enclosure in your appliance is cracked or broken and the ice auger will no longer work, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator’s water supply before you begin. Helpful Tip: Take extra care when removing the solenoid (part includes 3 pieces: spring, rod and coil). Take a digital photo or make a note of the current assembly before removing to aid with installation.
