Spark Module

This Range Spark Module controls the spark for lighting the range's surface burners. If your burners aren't igniting, replacing the module may alleviate this issue. To access the part, remove the large panel on the rear of the range's console. Behind this panel there is a smaller panel you may want to remove so you have more room to work on the spark module. The module is held in by two small screws. Transfer the wires from the old part to the new part one at a time to keep track of them. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the oven and novice repair experience. You must unplug the oven or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure to turn off the gas valve off before the repair.
