If your ice maker is no longer producing ice as expected, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. The Control Module is located under the white cover of the ice maker and held in by three Phillips screws. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
