Arm Strip

The SxS Refrigerator Ice Maker Stripper Kit rotates to push the ice cubes from the ice maker into the ice container. This kit includes the stripper, a fill cup and the instructions. If your ice is getting stuck in the ice maker, the tabs of the stripper may be damaged and this part may alleviate the issue. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the refrigerator before installing this part. Recommended Item: Ice Maker Assembly (item 2198597): This ice maker fits models that have the ice bucket in the door. The bottom mounting bracket on the old ice maker must be reused.
