Spring Assembly

The Top Load Washer Tub Centering Springs support the right side of the appliance and help the tub sit properly and remain stable during unbalanced loads. This set includes (2) springs; each one measures approximately 1-1/2" L. Note that your appliance requires (4) total centering springs. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools and disassembly of the washer. Previous repair experience will be helpful but is not necessary. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
