Door Lid Lock and Latch Assembly

This Top Load Washer Lid Latch Assembly tells your washer the lid is closed so it can go into its spin cycle, and also locks the lid. The full kit includes an instruction manual, two different colored bezels depending on the color of your washer, and the lid latch assembly. If your washer isn't starting as expected, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
