Drive Hub Assembly

The Top Load Washer Basket Drive Hub connects the spin basket to the spin shaft that spins the basket. If your washing machine isn't spinning as expected, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. To access the part, you'll first need to remove the agitator or the impeller depending on your washer model. Then remove the screws holding in the old drive hub and the driver hub. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
