Door Latch

The Dishwasher Door Latch Assembly securely fastens the door of the appliance and communicates to the dishwasher that the cleaning cycle can commence. If your dishwasher doesn’t close properly or operate as it should, replacing the door latch assembly may alleviate these issues. This assembly includes (1) door latch and (1) door strike plate. Note that you'll need to remove the front panel of the appliance to access the door latch. Installing these parts will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before you begin.
