Inverter Control Box

This Built-In Refrigerator Inverter Assembly is located near the compressor and manages the main functions of the refrigerator, including cooling. If your appliance’s compressor won’t start and you notice burn marks or discoloration on the existing part, it has likely malfunctioned and will need to be replaced. Note that you must access the rear of the appliance to complete this repair. This kit includes (1) inverter box, (1) wire harness extension, (1) short jumper extension, (1) ground wire and installation instructions. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Helpful Tip: To disconnect the wire harness from the existing inverter, slip a small screwdriver between the connector and the compressor to gently pry it loose.
