Outer Tub Assembly

The Front Load Washer Outer Tub fits over the spin basket inside the machine and attaches to the outer rear tub, sealing water inside the appliance during the cleaning cycle. If the outer tub section of your washing machine is damaged or leaking, replacing this part may remedy these issues. The outer tub assembly also includes a rubber seal. Installing this part will require several hand tools, disassembly of the washing machine and previous repair experience. Consider hiring a trained technician to complete this repair. If performing the installation yourself, you must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
