Suspension Rod

The Top Load Washer Suspension Rod Kit supports the wash tub and helps to dampen its movement during unbalanced cycles. This kit includes (4) suspension rods, (4) bearings, (4) bearing cups and installation instructions. If you washer remains unbalanced during use, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Installing this kit will require basic hand tools, disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
