The Electric Range Dual Radiant Element is a 14-in D heating element that supplies heat to the cooking area on top of the range.Elements are sold separately. This dual element allows you to adjust the size of the burner you want to use to match the width of your pots and pans. Note that a multimeter (item 964740) can be used to test for continuity to determine if the existing element is defective and requires replacement. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Helpful Tip: Take a digital photo or make a note of the current wiring before removing the existing part to aid with installation.
