This Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve supplies water to the ice maker and water dispenser in your refrigerator. If one of the solenoids have worn out, the valve no longer allows water to enter the ice maker or the dispenser. Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off. Replacing the valve will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off your water's hot and cold water supplies.
