Idler Pulley

This Dryer Idler Pulley and Bracket sits between the motor and the drum of the dryer, putting tension on the drive belt. If your appliance is no longer spinning as expected, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Recommended Part: When installing this part, also consider also replacing the Drive Belt (item #661570V). The drive belt is a very long, slender belt that wraps all the way around the dryer drum, around a tension pulley, and then around the drive motor pulley.
