Door Latch

The Dishwasher Door Latch and Handle Assembly is a one-piece unit that is used to open and securely close the appliance. This assembly is installed at the top of the dishwasher door and keeps the door secured while the machine is running. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Take a digital photograph of the current wiring connections before you begin to assist with proper installation. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your dishwasher.
