Water Filter Housing

The SxS Refrigerator Water Filter Housing is a white plastic part that surrounds and protects the appliance’s water filter and connects the water lines to the water filter. This cover measures approximately 5" x 12". To access the part, unscrew the water filter counter-clockwise and remove it, disconnecting it from the water lines. Then slide the old cover off. Hook the new cover onto each hinge pin, and then re-install the filter by turning it clockwise. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and intermediate repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator’s water supply before you begin.
