Go to StoreThis Laundry Appliance Timer Knob is a control knob for laundry appliances. The knob lets you control the cycle settings of your washer or dryer and fits a d-shaped shaft. In order to access the part, can simply pull the old timer knob from the shaft and replace it with the new knob. Using a piece of wire or string and wrapping it around the old knob may help remove it from the shaft. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
