Drum Assembly

The Dryer Drum Assembly rotates during the drying cycle to circulate air around the garments. This complete assembly includes (1) drum for your dryer and (2) glides. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, considerable disassembly of the dryer and previous repair experience. You will need to remove the top of the dryer and the front panel which requires disconnecting the door switch wire connector. Then untread the dryer belt from the idler pulley and remove the dryer drum assembly. If performing the installation yourself, you must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
