Shift Actuator

The Top Load Washer Shift Actuator is located at the bottom of the machine and shifts the washer from the wash to the spin cycle. This part has a synchronous motor that shifts the splutch cam ring and monitors the position of the splutch. If your appliance is unable to enter the spin cycle, replacing this part may alleviate this issue. When replacing this part, consider using Whirlpool's high-quality and easy-to-install shift actuator assembly. The replacement process will require basic hand tools, such as a multi-screwdriver, some disassembly of the washer, and novice repair experience.
