Detergent Dispenser

The Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser Assembly contains and releases the appliance’s detergent and rinse aid during the cleaning cycle. If the detergent assembly of your dishwasher does not dispense the detergent or rinse aid properly, then this part may need to be replaced. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your dishwasher before you begin. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Dishwasher Cleaner (item W10282479) to help remove limescale and mineral build-up that can be unsightly and affect your dishwasher’s performance. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
