The Ice Maker Fill Tube and Water Line Assembly connects the water inlet valve to the ice maker. If your refrigerator's ice maker is leaking water and no longer making ice, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. To access the part, remove the shelves from the right side of your refrigerator. The fill tube is located behind a secure panel on the back wall and runs to the top of the refrigerator. Once you disconnect the fill tube from the water inlet valve behind this panel, you can remove it through a panel at the top of the refrigerator. Installing this part will require basic tools, considerable disassembly of the refrigerator and prior repair experience. Remember to unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator’s water supply before you begin.
