Door Gasket

The SxS Refrigerator Door Gasket, White is a new rubber door seal for the fresh food section of your appliance. If the refrigerator door doesn’t close properly or you can feel cold air escaping the appliance, replacing the rubber gasket may alleviate these issues. Note that door seal gaskets may also compress over time, causing the refrigerator to work harder to maintain a constant, cool temperature. Frost may accumulate inside the appliance as a result of this issue. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. You must also turn off the water supply to the refrigerator to complete this installation. Note that the gasket may arrive with some dents and creases, laying the part in the sun or soaking it in warm water will help to soften the rubber.
