CH Switch

The Top Load Washer Lid Check Switch detects if the lid of the washer is open or closed and prevents the appliance from spinning or agitating if the lid isn’t secured. If your washer won’t initiate the spin cycle, the current lid switch could be damaged and require replacement. Note that this part is the switch only; the fuse, wire harness and bracket are not included (the entire assembly is available for purchase under item WP22001682). Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Helpful Tips: The appearance of this part may differ from the original in your appliance, but will function the same way.
