Ice Door

The SxS Refrigerator Ice Compartment Cover attaches over the ice maker to protect it and to direct airflow over the ice mold. To replace this part, remove the old ice cover in the freezer by releasing it from the two mounting pins holding it into place. When installing the new cover, make sure the pins are lined up with the grooves on each side of the freezer compartment and push one side in at a time. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. Helpful tip: If your old water line has a kink or starts to leak, it should be replaced. A water filter can also be added inline with the copper supply line to improve the quality of your ice.
