The SxS Refrigerator Lower Door Cam is a black plastic part that allows the refrigerator or freezer’s door to open and close properly. If one or both of the appliance’s lower cams are broken or the ridges have worn off, you can easily replace them with this part. Note that the screw needed for installation is sold separately, part number 3400012. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. Helpful Tips: Consider applying silicone lubricant (item 1074750) to the cam before installation. We also recommend replacing the upper cam (item 2683508) at the same time as this repair.
