If your appliance is no longer dispensing ice properly, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Note that if you need an auger motor with mounting tabs on the top, this part is available under item 2188860. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin.
