This Refrigerator Water Tube Fitting connects lines that supply water to components such as the ice maker and water dispenser. If the existing fitting is damaged or cracked and water is leaking out, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This plastic connector accepts 5/16" water tubing. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator’s water supply before you begin. Note: Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off to the appliance.
