Thermostat

This SxS Refrigerator Thermostat regulates the temperature in your refrigerator by switching the compressor on and off. If your refrigerator's compressor is constantly running, won't come on, or runs without holding the correct temperature, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin. Recommended Item: Refrigerator and Freezer Thermometer (item 8171720). This thermometer shows temps from -20 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Thermometer face has special markings to show where food is safe and where it is at risk of spoilage.
