Go to StoreThe Electric Dryer Heating Element Assembly generates heat in the appliance during the drying cycle. This assembly includes the heating element, thermal fuse, heat shield, heater enclosure and ceramic insulators. If your dryer isn’t heating properly or generates no heat at all, the element may need to be replaced. Installing this assembly will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Note that you will need to transfer the high-limit thermostat from the previous heating element to the new part, or purchase a new one, to complete this repair.
