Felt Seal

This Dryer Drum Felt Seal is located on the bulkhead and is what seals the hot air into the dryer drum as it rotates. If hot air is leaking out of your dryer, the seal is likely damaged and replacing this part may alleviate the issue. To access this part, you'll lift the top of the dryer up by releasing the spring clips on both sides with a putty knife. This seal is compatible with many different models and may fit both the front and rear. Includes 1 seal. Required adhesive not included. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Recommended items: High Temperature Adhesive (item WPY055980): High temperature adhesive for installing rubber and felt seals, 2 ounces. Dryer drum glide pad (item WP37001298): Drum glides help to support the front of the dryer drum as it rotates.
