Infinite Switch

The Electric Range Surface Burner Control Switch operates an 8" surface element, turning it off and on and regulating the heat intensity. If your element remains at high heat or doesn’t turn on at all, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. This surface burner control switch (also called the infinite switch) has a figure eight shaped shaft and measures 8.9 - 11 amp. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.
