Timer

This Front Load Dryer Timer is a 60 hertz timer that controls the electrical components and the duration of dryer cycles. If any of the contacts inside the part have burned out, or if the motor has shorted out and is no longer advancing the timer, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Note: Depending on your dryer's model and serial numbers, your wire harness may also need to be replaced at the same time as the timer. To access the part, remove the timer knob and then remove the access panel on the rear of the control panel. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
