Drive Motor

The Dryer Drive Motor Assembly powers the drum of the appliance during operation. If your dryer's drum stops turning during the drying cycle, won't start at all, or the motor itself is loud, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. Note that the drive motor is frequently misdiagnosed; check more commonly defective parts before replacing the drive motor. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.
