Cover Assembly

The Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser contains and releases the appliance’s detergent during the cleaning cycle. This part is just the dispenser lid. It is also included in the Dishwasher Soap Dispenser Kit (item 4387043) that includes the lid, lid hinge pin, spring, snap and latch. The old lid can be snapped out of place with the help of a flat blade screwdriver. The new lid simply snaps into place. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. Recommended Item: The appliance's Repair Manual (item W10131216) is a useful reference when replacing this part.
