Heating Element

The Dryer Heating Element is a replacement part for heating element coils that short out, causing your dryer to no longer produce the heat necessary to dry your clothes. If your dryer is not heating, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This dryer heating element includes the thermostat, thermal fuse, and wires. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Helpful Tip: The heating element and many other parts can be tested using a volt/ohm meter.
