Timer 60 Hz

The Top Load Washer Timer controls the appliance’s wash cycle operations, including filling, soaking, washing, spinning and rinsing. If any of the contacts in your appliance’s timer have burned out, or if the motor inside the unit shorted out and the timer is no longer functioning, you can easily replace the assembly with this part. This part does not include the timer knob, but you can purchase it separately. Note that this issue is often misdiagnosed; refer to the Repair Help section on the Whirlpool Parts website for additional repair information. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
