If the current part is stained or cracked, you can easily replace it with this item. This timer is white in color and measures approx. 3" D. When replacing the part, make sure the flat edge on the timer matches with the flat edge of the dryer’s shaft--then simply push into place. Installing this part will not require tools, disassembly of the dryer or repair experience. Remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
