Go to StoreThis Top Load Washer Timer Dial, White attaches behind the timer knob and moves with the knob when you select a cycle. In order to access the part, you'll remove the screws securing the top control panel of the washer, lift that back and use a pair of needle nose pliers to pull out the catch that holds the timer knob in. Then you can simply pull the old timer knob from the shaft to gain access to the dial behind the knob. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
