Inlet Valve

The Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve allows the appliance to fill with water and complete the cleaning cycle. If your dishwasher won't fill properly or overflows, then the water valve is likely restricted or damaged and will need replacement. Note that this valve features an updated design that replaces older 2-coil valves and may differ from the existing part. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your dishwasher before you begin. Recommended Item: The Dishwasher Drain Pan (item 1021760) slides underneath the appliance and diverts any water leak to the front of the dishwasher.
