Light Bulb

The Refrigerator Light Bulb is a clear glass 40W, 120V incandescent bulb with a small metallic base meant to illuminate the inside of the refrigerator. To replace this part, twist the old bulb out of place. Use your pliers if the base of the bulb is still inside the socket once the glass part of the bulb has been removed. The bulb is located behind the control box on some refrigerators, and can also be used on some freezer models. Check to see if your appliance model is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. Make sure you unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
