The Refrigerator Ice Maker Cycling Thermostat monitors the temperature in the freezer to determine when the ice maker is cold enough to create ice and then regulates when the ice maker ejects the ice into the bin and begins a new ice-making cycle. If your appliance isn't producing any ice or the ice maker is making unusual noises, replacing this part could alleviate these issues. This kit includes (1) thermostat and (2) mounting clips. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools and disassembly of the refrigerator. Previous repair experience will be helpful but is not necessary. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your refrigerator. Required Parts: You will need Alumilastic Cement (item WP4317852) to properly complete this repair.
