Water Inlet Valve

The SxS Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve allows water to enter the refrigerator’s water dispenser and ice maker. The package includes the new water valve, instructions, ¼" tubing and a plastic ¼" coupler. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and intermediate repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator’s water supply before you begin. Helpful Tip: We do not recommend taking apart your appliance’s current water inlet valve to clean it, due to the risk of failure after the disassembly.
