Door Switch Actuator

The Washer/Dryer Door Switch Actuator Lever detects if the lid of the appliance is open or closed and prevents the appliance from spinning or agitating if the lid isn’t secured. If your washer won’t initiate the cleaning cycle, the current lid switch could be damaged and require replacement. This assembly includes (1) lid switch with actuator and wire harness and installation instructions. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies if this is being used for your washer. Recommended Item: Door Switch (item W10820036).
