Rubber

The Dishwasher Rubber Washer sits in between the heating element and the dishwasher tub, and prevents leaks. If your dishwasher is leaking water, this part may need to be replaced. In order to access the part, you'll need to remove the screws that hold the dishwasher to the cabinet. You'll then disconnect the lines underneath the sink so you can pull the dishwasher out of the cabinet. Then disconnect the heater element behind the machine. Replacing this part will require no disassembly or repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your dishwasher before you begin.
