Bake Element

The Electric Range Bake Element keeps your oven heating properly. The element is fastened into the back of the oven by two screws. Screws are not included. The main reason for replacing the heating element is if it has shorted out and is no longer heating the oven sufficiently. This bake element has 21" wide wire terminals. Terminal depth is 3" and the total element length is 21". Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. You must unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Helpful Tip: Be mindful not to let the wires connected to the current part fall back inside the oven when you disconnect them; retrieval of the wires will require addition steps during installation, including removal of the rear panel of the appliance.
